After thinking about the last post I wrote with the traffic list, I realized I completely forgot to add two of the top options for traffic generation these days.

Again, I am not even covering the basics of how these can be utilized or maximized. There might be a hundred different methods to get the most out of your social marketing campaigns, without ever doing the first thirty traffic generating methods from the earlier post.

In addition, because there are many other techniques, known and unknown, it becomes quite easy to get bogged down with trying to get maximum result from minimum efforts. Over the next few weeks I will cover each of these methods individually and discuss how best to use them for your business.

I am sure this is not an all inclusive list. There are also many variations upon any theme here. Also please take note that with the exception of SEO, pretty much none of these require your site to actually receive traffic from a search engine, such as google.

Google is not the only place to actively get traffic for your sites or your products. You have to think a little outside the box while not trying to reinvent the wheel each time.

I good example would be classified ads. If they work well for your product, consider taking them online, bringing them to related markets or newer publications that you have not tried before.

What is the Biggest Roadblock to Being a Real Internet Success Story

Well I am not sure what the biggest overall roadblock is, but I know what mine is. You will likely be surprised by what I found out, and the truth of the matter is that it hurt once I knew.

My biggest roadblock is simply – ME. There I said it. I am my own worst enemy when it comes to being a success.

Call Tony Robbins, Call Oprah, Call Dr Phil.

The true epiphany is that I can sabotage myself at any split second.

How? Well, because I have interests. I am human. I can be just as lazy as the next person. Or maybe even lazier then the last person. Not sure which.

But the truth is that I sometimes find it hard to write stuff. I have had mental blocks when working on websites. I am guilty of starting a project only to get sidetracked and then lose 3 weeks before going back to it. It happens.

Once you learn what your biggest roadblock is (and it will likely be yourself too), then you can learn what you need to do to change.

Stop getting in your own way. If you want to become a real internet success story, then you will need to work at it. No one is simply going to hand it to you. Go buy lottery tickets if you want that. But if you want the pride that goes with a successful job well done, then get off your behind and get to work.

Adding a new category that is not for the weak at heart

I am adding a new category to the Real Internet Success Blog and it will have some criteria before you read it.

The criteria first is that you should not read it at all, UNLESS you are willing to take a long, hard, and deep look into your own Internet Marketing Soul.

The category is called “Motivation” And it is not for those of weak hearts. This category will contain a no-holds-barred attitude adjustment feel.

By this I mean that I will not pull any punches whatsoever. The cold hard facts of marketing reality. I will tell it like I see it. There will no doubt be topics that will make some people think twice, but as I said it is not for the weak.

Why I am taking this approach. Simple. I am sick and tired of not hearing the truth. I have been researching, learning and trying to work at Internet Marketing for a few years now. And all too often I learn something that only presents more questions. This often has led me to become discouraged, de-motivated, and keeps me from pushing myself further.

It was not until I took that cold hard look at myself and my own life that I realized all of this. so if it can help you to become motivated, to become successful, and to earn a living online then that is what I hope to accomplish.
