What I am talking about is those people stuck in jobs they hate, jobs where they are so bored that a snail race would be like office NASCAR. Nobody likes to feel like they are stuck. Try getting stuck sometime, like in the mud, snow, ice, or at an in-laws house. You hate it.

You know you do, but you are often faced with questions like

• What can I do about it?

• Why can’t I get a better job?

• Why am I still working here?

• Why do I put up with this?

The entire point is that you do not have to. People often feel stuck because they simply do not know what their options are, or that there are any options at all.

More negative banter clouds up our minds as well. Thoughts of no money, any time, too hard to learn new skills, too much back pain, or some other excuse creeps in.

Folks. These are nothing but excuses. EXCUSES!

It does not matter what excuse you pick, any one of them is as good as another. Once you settle on one, you can blame it for everything bad in your entire life. Why bother even learning to make up more then one excuse.

Stick with “being to lazy” and just go from there. Stay stuck in your rut, it doesn’t bother anyone but you, Right?

WRONG!

When you are in a rut like that it affects the entire world around you. I know first hand.

During part of my career I worked for ISP’s and web hosting companies. The ISP was at the start of the entire internet craze, and business was good. But when everything slowed down, work began to slide down to a crawl. So slow at times that if we got 1 phone call every hour that was a busy day. Anything more than that was a mind bending blur that lasts 15 minutes and then you were right back to the torturously slow, mundane; gouge your eyes out kind of day.

I was getting so bored that I felt the life being sapped out of my body. I was tired all the time, constant headaches, and my health was declining. That is a rut. We do not realize as a society that this type of situation can kill us. It truly can. All it takes is one drive home where I fall asleep because of boredom.

So what did I do, I left that job.

So what changed? I started my own business. I found that I could spend time reading, studying and creating my new business when I had little to do at work. This gave a whole new meaning to life. After that I was working for myself. I learned what I could, read as many books as I could, and used a notebook to keep track of business ideas, topics, new website material, and anything else I needed to do.

The moral to all of this, is that you can to. Anyone who says they can’t do it is BOTH RIGHT AND WRONG!!

You’re right because if you think you can’t do something then you will never try to do it. And you’re wrong because if you want to do it bad enough, then you can do it.

Well, this is one of them. A free little headline analysis tool.

If your not sure what headline analysis is, it is the process of analyzing the effectiveness of your headlines.

Well, this is the name of the game, isn’t it? We all want our headlines to be effective. And what better way then to have a tool that helps you to test that. This tool is located here:

It will take your headline and rate it on a scale of 0-100%. It will also tell you if you have a headline that appeals to a certain type of sector. They use Intellectual, Empathetic, and Spiritual. Each of these is geared towards different market and emotional response factors.

After about 15 minutes I was able to generate headlines that were consistantly above to 50% mark. Obviously it is a balancing act, in that you will want headlines that make sense, and still have a high rating for your market.
