More Material than You can Shake a Stick at
Posted by Derek on June 20th, 2007 filed in All About SuccessLike most of you out there, I get a few hundred e-mails to my inbox every time a new product hits the market. This can be quite annoying, but often times worth it.
So the question is: How do you sort through it all?
Well, that depends on the stage you are at with your business. I suggest you weigh your options before deciding to buy additional new products.
Before you purchase new products take a moment to determine if the product meets your immediate needs. Make sure it offers you something (other then a false promise) that you will need right away. Then, if it is something you must have, make sure it is something you can afford.
If your not making money with your present business, then do not spend money on new products unless absolutely necessary. And by that I mean, unless you are buying a product for resale, or using as a free give away, or in some manner going to make a profit back, and then consider skipping it for now. These products will still be around a few days from now.
Remember that you are a marketer now. You must learn to recognize that this is all about the marketing. Take the sales pages with a little salt, and try to make the best decision you can based on what you already know.
If your not sure, then by all means ask me, or any other marketer that suggests the product if they have bought or reviewed it. Make sure you get an honest opinion.
Just make sure you are going to use it right away and can recoup your money before shelling out more then a few bucks. Try to buy products after you are making money. That way it will hurt less if you’re not happy with the product.
